A GIFT FOR MYSELF

                          " Since, this is my first salary I want to buy a gift for myself".that was my line when I received my first salary to my employer.And the first thing that came on my mind was the book that I've been longing for, before I can't afford to buy the book because i was jobless and it was quiet expensive for me and now I can afford to buy it coz I already have a money.

       So,I decided to go to a bookstore and ask the title of the book but they didn't have that kind of book.One friday morning a friend of mind asked me to go to church with her at JEBEL ALI so I decided to go with her, while I roamed around I saw a bookstore, as I try to get inside I saw the file of books that I've been looking for..(THE PURPOSE DRIVEN LIFE BOOK by RICK WARREN)..

          I felt so happy coz I already have it..And I told to myself this is the nicest gift that I ever bought for myself..

          This book changed me into a better person..Everything that was written on the book reminded me that everything  happened and will happen  God has a purpose on it and HE had a great planned for our lives if we will just have faith and trust in HIM alone.

           It's in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for. Long before we first heard of Christ,...he had his eye on us,had designs on us for glorious living,part of the overall purpose he is working out in everything and everyone.

      -Ephesians 1:11-

HOW CAN I BRING GLORY TO GOD?

• WE BRING GOD GLORY BY WORSHIPING HIM

               -worship is our first responsibility to GOD,we worship GOD by enjoying him. ..worship is far more than praising, singing,and praying to GOD,it's a lifestyle of enjoying GOD ,loving him and giving ourselves to be used on his purpose.The bible say's "Use your whole body as a tool to do what is rightbfor the glory og GOD.

• WE BRING GOD GLORY BY LOVING OTHER BELIEVERS

             Jonh wrote,"Our love for each other proves that we  have gone from death to life."Paul said,"Accept each other just as CHRIST has accepted you;then GOD will be glorified."and JESUS said,"As i have loved you,so you must love one another.By this all men will know that you are my disciples,if you love one another."

•   WE BRING GOD GLORY BY BECOMING LIKE CHRIST

               spiritual maturity is becoming like JESUS in the way we think, feel and act..The bible says,"As the spirit of the Lord works within us, we become more and more like him and reflect his glory even more."God wants to continue the process of changing our character..The bible says,"May you always be filled with the fruit of your salvation-those good things that are produced in your life by Jesus Christ-for ths will bring much glory and praise to GOD.



• WE BRING GOD GLORY BY SERVING OTHERS WITH OUR GIFTS

           each one of us is uniquely designed by God with talents,gifts,skills and abilities.God didn't give you  your abilities for selfish purposes.,The bible says,"God has given gifts to each of you from his great variety of spiritual gifts.Manage them well so that GOD's generosity can flow through you...Are you called to help others?Do it with all the strenght and energy that God supplies.Then God will be given glory..

• WE BRING GOD GLORY BY TELLING OTHERS ABOUT HIM

            God doesn't want his love and purpose to kept secret.we need to share the Good news..The bible says,"As God's grace brings more and more people to Christ,...God will receive more and more glory..
          

A FRIENDSHIP STORY (my real life story)

            What is friendship all about? As defined on word web it is the state of being friends. I will share something about my real life friendship story.

        I am a friendly and funny girl.I really love to have a lot of friends. When I was an elementary pupil I've got a friend named Joan, she was my very best budd that time, were always together. She always makes me laughed, teased and cheered me up when my parents scolded me.

    One day, Joan asked me to have a sleepover in her house,I felt so happy and excited that time without knowing that Joan will say goodbye to me. When she's talking my tears fell down on my cheek until she said ''farewell'' to you Ana because my parents decided to transfer to another place. I mourn and felt so sad that moment. I told her don't you dare to forget me Joan, no matter what happen.

      Five years later, I'm already a high school student  I felt so excited because my mom enrolled me in the school which was near to Joan's place and Joan also was enrolled in that school too.

       First day of school I spent my time looking for her. Luckily I found her sitting on the school grandstand talking with her new friend. I ran and screamed her name Jooooaaaaaaaannnn.... But it seemed she didn't hear me calling her name. As I reached at the grandstand she smiled at me and asked WHO ARE YOU? I was shocked and really hurt as I heared her asking but still I introduced myself.DO YOU STILL REMEMBER ME? I'M ANA YOUR BEST FRIEND BEFORE... but she said ah- I'M SORRY I FORGET YOUR FACE. AHH OK NICE MEETING YOU..BYE ANA.. I don't know what to say and I can't explain my feelings that moment.

        As I went back home my mom asked me if I saw her. I replied saying,I saw her mama but it looks like she doesn't know me and remember me at all. My mom told me ''People change and maybe Joan met a lot of friends that's why she easily forget you.'' Mom was right! But  she's still a friend of mine and I will always keep the memories that we had. I'll keep her in my heart and my thoughts forever.

Since that time that my friend Joan left and ignore me, it made me realized how to make friend and treasure them..Then on I met a lot of friends and I'm so happy, and i told myself that GOD is really great and good because i lost my friend Joan but He sent me more true friends.

And now I'm going to narrate another chapter of my friendship story..

During my high school life i met a set of friends and i gained a real true friends they were my classmates and we called our group as JAIMMARR. I felt so happy and so excited in everyday of my high school life because of them.We eat together ,we helped each other with our school projects and sharing answers for our assignments specially mathematics..I could say that we knew each other very well,because were classmates since second year high school until we graduated high school.

Later on,our friendship stayed strong until graduation came..And again it really broke my heart, because for the second time around they will left me, but i need to accept the reality and understand that we need to go to college.

Some of us went to college and some didn't. And about me I didn't went to college because my parents can't afford to enroll me, what i did I work as a fish retailer in the market to save money, and for me to get in  to college the next year...But still my JAIMMARR friends always there for me..

what a great day..

i thank God for giving me this lovely day;

another chance to enjoy the gift of life;

a chance to worship him and thank him..

a great day to be happy..

to inspire other peoples lives;

by sharing our thoughts about our savior's plan.

a great day to live

with GOD's great purpose in our lives;

our lifeplan depends on GOD's plan

so be great and be proud of being HIS sons and daughters.
