A GIFT FOR MYSELF

                          " Since, this is my first salary I want to buy a gift for myself".that was my line when I received my first salary to my employer.And the first thing that came on my mind was the book that I've been longing for, before I can't afford to buy the book because i was jobless and it was quiet expensive for me and now I can afford to buy it coz I already have a money.

       So,I decided to go to a bookstore and ask the title of the book but they didn't have that kind of book.One friday morning a friend of mind asked me to go to church with her at JEBEL ALI so I decided to go with her, while I roamed around I saw a bookstore, as I try to get inside I saw the file of books that I've been looking for..(THE PURPOSE DRIVEN LIFE BOOK by RICK WARREN)..

          I felt so happy coz I already have it..And I told to myself this is the nicest gift that I ever bought for myself..

          This book changed me into a better person..Everything that was written on the book reminded me that everything  happened and will happen  God has a purpose on it and HE had a great planned for our lives if we will just have faith and trust in HIM alone.

           It's in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for. Long before we first heard of Christ,...he had his eye on us,had designs on us for glorious living,part of the overall purpose he is working out in everything and everyone.

HOW CAN I BRING GLORY TO GOD?

• WE BRING GOD GLORY BY WORSHIPING HIM

               -worship is our first responsibility to GOD,we worship GOD by enjoying him. ..worship is far more than praising, singing,and praying to GOD,it's a lifestyle of enjoying GOD ,loving him and giving ourselves to be used on his purpose.The bible say's "Use your whole body as a tool to do what is rightbfor the glory og GOD.

• WE BRING GOD GLORY BY LOVING OTHER BELIEVERS

             Jonh wrote,"Our love for each other proves that we  have gone from death to life."Paul said,"Accept each other just as CHRIST has accepted you;then GOD will be glorified."and JESUS said,"As i have loved you,so you must love one another.By this all men will know that you are my disciples,if you love one another."

•   WE BRING GOD GLORY BY BECOMING LIKE CHRIST

               spiritual maturity is becoming like JESUS in the way we think, feel and act..The bible says,"As the spirit of the Lord works within us, we become more and more like him and reflect his glory even more."God wants to continue the process of changing our character..The bible says,"May you always be filled with the fruit of your salvation-those good things that are produced in your life by Jesus Christ-for ths will bring much glory and praise to GOD.



• WE BRING GOD GLORY BY SERVING OTHERS WITH OUR GIFTS

           each one of us is uniquely designed by God with talents,gifts,skills and abilities.God didn't give you  your abilities for selfish purposes.,The bible says,"God has given gifts to each of you from his great variety of spiritual gifts.Manage them well so that GOD's generosity can flow through you...Are you called to help others?Do it with all the strenght and energy that God supplies.Then God will be given glory..

• WE BRING GOD GLORY BY TELLING OTHERS ABOUT HIM

            God doesn't want his love and purpose to kept secret.we need to share the Good news..The bible says,"As God's grace brings more and more people to Christ,...God will receive more and more glory..
