These things true happiness do teach,

At which we-minded Christian reach;

God rightly and thyself to know,

And what thou dost thy neighbor owe;

A temperature tongue,chaste speech,heart pure,

A cheerful giver's hand to the poor,

A life with small and own's content,

Unstained faith, and love permanent.
